Quiet Island
底层地板式平台和支撑
半导体生产工厂都要有高架地板来适应复杂设备的要求（水管设施、电缆、输气管等）以及保持严苛的净度。这样的地板对于极度振动敏感产品、检验以及计量设备的安装都是极大挑战。高架地板不能为这样的设备提供必要的振动环境。
TMC的Quiet Island是利用固定于底层地板下面的‘Quiet Island’来代替高架地板一部分的创新的解决方案。Quiet Island是包含带有专门的支撑结构的特殊平台。
平台
平台是由TMC设计并生产的夹着轻质、不可压缩的阻尼核心材料的钢制4inch薄板。由坚硬的钢板、核心以及环氧树脂粘合成的具有夹层效果的不锈钢钢板使产品具有极高的硬度和结构阻尼。大面积的横截面和含钢量使整体硬度达到一个较高等级。平台顶面和边缘是
连续的整块的不锈钢外壳，用来保持其净度、外观和完整性。
