This was already the 5th International Symposium on inverse gas chromatography (IGC), a specialized, but very versatile technique to characterize surface properties. The topic of 2016 was:
Surface Analysis by Dynamic Adsorption Methods in Gas and Liquid Phase
The speakers presented the latest, most up-to-date knowledge and experience on surface characterization, using dynamic adsorption methods also known as inverse chromatography. In addition well-established gas phase characterization new aspects of in-situ studies in liquid phase were covered.
