Indian Business Groups Honor ACD/Labs' KK Bhagchandani

Bangalore, INDIA (9th October, 2015)—K.K. Bhagchandani, Senior Director-Asia & Pacific Business, was honored by two associations in India. The Economic Development Forum of India awarded Bhagchandani with the 'Glory of India' Award, 2015, while the AIBDA (All India Business Development Association) awarded him the 'Bharat Udyog Ratan'.

Nominated by his peers, and awarded by the Advisory Boards of the groups, K.K. Bhagchandani was recognized for contributing to the growth and development of international business ties between India and Asia, and the rest of the world, for promoting scientific awareness, and helping Indian companies enhance productivity and streamline processes.

K.K. Bhagchandani has worked in the life sciences industry based in India for 24 years. He made the transition to working for IT-software companies after beginning his career in the pharmaceutical industry. He is a regular guest speaker at international scientific conferences and meetings—introducing tools that help increase efficiency and productivity in chemistry R&D, and sharing his expertise in modern technologies for innovation-driven industries.

These awards also reflect the value local industry places on ACD/Labs' software solutions. In 2003, as ACD/Labs moved into the Asia-Pacific market, K.K. Bhagchandani was charged with developing business in this region. More than a decade later the business has grown significantly and K.K. Bhagchandani has been instrumental in building relationships and addressing the unique needs of his local customers. These awards acknowledge Bhagchandani's efforts in building the ACD/Labs brand in the Asia-Pacific region and serving a loyal customer base.
