Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy is an important semiconductor analysis technique in material sciences as well as for research and development of optoelectronic devices such as lasers, LEDs or sensors. PL is a valuable tool to study the band structure, exciton features, sample quality or phonon modes of hetero structures (e.g. quantum wells) or bulk samples.
