SL253型压片机采用较先进的曲轴连杆增力机构，改变了一般压片机用液压或齿轮使动的传统方法，克服了液压容易漏油，齿轮可能打滑的缺陷。具有结构紧凑、体积小、重量轻、压力高、上压速度快、工作压力稳定、使用方便、经久耐用、安全可靠等特点。是一种理想的现代压样设备。相比SL252型压片机，重量仅为原来的2/5，且不可能漏油，故障率几乎为零。是更新及替代SL252型压片机的理想产品。
SL253型压片机使用极其方便，只要用手扳一下，即可完成压样，相比其他手动压片机需压几下甚至几十下要方便得多，相比自动压片机也差不多，但自动压片机电机等容易出现故障且价格较高，所以在性价比上更胜过自动压片机。 
With advanced crankshaft link rod energizing structure, the SL253 sample piece presser is free from the drawbacks of the leaking of hydraulic oil and the slipping of gear wheels frequently occur in the traditional driving devices applied in general pressers. It is an ideal modern sample pressing machine which has numerous features, such as compact structure, small size, light weight, high pressure, fast pressurizing speed, stable working pressure, convenient usage, durable, safe in use, and so on. Compared with the SL252 sample piece presser, its weight is only 2/5 of that of the SL252. It has no problem of leaking hydraulic oil, and has almost zero failure rates. Hence, it is an ideal upgrade or replacement type for the SL252sample presser.
It is extremely convenient to use this SL253 presser. A sample piece can be pressed with just one pull of the handle, which is much more convenient than pressing with other pressers which need several or scores of actions of the hands. It is almost as convenient as an automatic sample presser, and is more economical than it because a automatic sample presser is more expensive and is easy to have motor failure.
